BESPOKE PRIVATE GYM INTERIORS

A private atelier in Switzerland creating bespoke gym interiors and tailored wellness spaces for residences, alpine chalets and selected hospitality environments across Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Each project is approached with architectural sensitivity, material refinement and discretion — conceived in close collaboration with architects, interior designers and private clients.

CONFIDENTIAL PRIVATE RESIDENCES
& INTERNATIONAL LUXURY PROPERTIES

Each installation is conceived as an integral part of the architectural and interior design concept, ensuring aesthetic harmony, spatial balance and discreet integration within the overall design narrative.

THE TURNKEY ATELIER APPROACH

A discreet, fully integrated process tailored to residential and hospitality interiors.

From spatial concept and equipment curation to material selection, delivery, installation, final styling and aftercare, each stage is carefully coordinated as part of a single, considered process.

Every room is conceived as an extension of the architecture — integrated into the wider interior concept rather than treated as a standalone fitness space.

The process is developed in close collaboration with architects, interior designers and private clients.

CONCEPT
& INTERIOR INTEGRATION

Each project begins with a close reading of the architecture, interior context and way of living within the space.

The aim is to create a room of clarity and quiet presence, with every element integrated into the overall design language.

EQUIPMENT
& MATERIAL CURATION

Equipment, materials and finishes are selected in relation to the interior concept. Where appropriate, curation may include Watson Gym Equipment alongside tailored leatherwork, bespoke detailing and concept-aligned flooring solutions.

Every component is chosen to contribute to a cohesive and highly individual environment.

DELIVERY
& DISCREET INSTALLATION

From logistics and planning to final installation and spatial styling, British Splendour delivers realised interiors with discretion, precision and close attention to detail.

Installations are carried out with sensitivity to private residences, chalet properties and hospitality environments alike.

Turnkey atelier process

Conceived as a luxury gym design for architects, each project begins with a precise understanding of space, proportion and interior language, allowing for a seamless gym integration within interior design and the creation of a calm, coherent architectural fitness space.

“From the earliest planning stage, each room is conceived as an architectural element — never as an isolated fitness space.”

FOR ARCHITECTS, INTERIOR
DESIGNERS & PRIVATE CLIENTS

Developed for projects where aesthetics, materiality and spatial continuity are fundamental.

British Splendour collaborates closely with architects, interior designers and private clients to integrate private training spaces into residences, chalets and selected hospitality projects.

The focus lies not on adding a separate room, but on shaping a space that belongs naturally to the architecture and the wider interior concept.

Whether working alongside design professionals or directly with private clients, each commission is handled with precision, discretion and a highly individual approach.

MATERIAL SELECTION
& CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT

Material selection is an essential part of each British Splendour project.

From refined leather finishes and bespoke stitching to curated material palettes, every element is aligned with the architectural and interior concept of the space.

Material selection and concept development

The result is an environment defined through materiality and detail — from beautiful and luxurious gym equipment to refined dumbbells, high-end weight plates and architectural gym flooring — each bespoke wellness space becoming a quiet yet distinctive luxury fitness room design.

EQUIPMENT FINISHES, FRAMES
& UPHOLSTERY

Each equipment piece is specified, curated or reinterpreted in relation to the interior concept.

Leathers, frame tones and tailored upholstery are refined through close collaboration, allowing each piece to feel architectural and fully integrated into its environment.

CURATED ACCESSORIES

Accessories form part of the overall spatial concept — from curated weight plates and bespoke storage solutions to design-aligned training accessories.

Every detail is selected to complement the atmosphere and aesthetic direction of the room.

FLOORING
& SURFACE DESIGN

Flooring and surface applications are conceived as part of the wider interior narrative, creating continuity between architecture, furniture and use.

Each surface is integrated into the overall spatial composition rather than treated as a purely technical layer.

CARDIO EQUIPMENT

Cardio equipment is selectively integrated in alignment with the overall interior language, with finishes, upholstery and detailing considered for seamless spatial integration.

A PRIVATE HERITAGE ATELIER
IN SWITZERLAND

Charly Burger AG was founded in 1984 by Ruth and Charly Burger, rooted in a culture of craftsmanship, precision and technical mastery.

Over the decades, the family company evolved through specialised ateliers in leather, metalwork, mechanical restoration and technical service, building extensive hands-on expertise and refined making.

In 2013, the second generation continued the legacy under the direction of Micha Burger, further strengthening the company's technical and upholstery expertise within the fitness field.

In 2023, Selina Kunz-Burger, daughter of founder Charly Burger, established Charly Burger et Fille to independently develop the premium fitness distribution and more private segment of the family heritage, leading to the launch of British Splendour under her creative direction.

Today, the focus lies on private gym interiors and wellness spaces for residences, alpine chalets and selected hospitality environments — curated from a private heritage atelier in Switzerland.
